Join us for an exciting journey into the world of acting! Our Saturday afternoon classes are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and introduce young actors to a diverse range of techniques. With a strong focus on engaging the imagination, these classes provide a welcoming space where kids can freely express themselves, learn new skills, and have fun along the way.

Led by husband and wife team Jake and Siri Thornton, who bring a combined 50 years of professional experience across stage, film, TV, improv, screenwriting, casting, directing, and producing in London, Hollywood, and around the globe, your child will learn from the best. Jake and Siri’s expertise ensures that each class is inspiring, authentic, and tailored to support the unique journey of each young actor.

Classes run every Saturday from 12–2 pm, January through May in Camas, Washington. Exact time may change depending on participants and location. Location within Camas, WA - TBD. Classes will not be held during Camas District Spring Break.

About Jake:

Jake is an accomplished actor and writer with a diverse background in the performing arts. He trained at London's prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama and performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in London's West End. Jake also toured the world as part of the Tom Waits/William Burroughs collaboration, The Black Rider. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Jake has focused on screenwriting, with his breakthrough spec script, Winter's Knight, an origin story of Santa Claus, selling for $1M in 2014. Jake brings a wealth of experience and passion to teaching kids acting, combining his theatrical expertise with his industry success.

About Siri:

Siri is an accomplished actress, screenwriter, and certified Reiki Master Practitioner. Born in a yoga commune in Boston, MA, Siri grew up in Vermont where she honed her acting skills through school plays, acting camps, and community theater. She began her film career while studying theater and communications at Clark University and later moved to Los Angeles, where she trained at the Larry Moss Studio and The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Acting Studio. Siri has acted in over 40 films, television episodes, plays, and web series, including a notable role alongside Ralph Macchio in Can't Be Heaven (1999). In addition to acting, Siri is a published author, screenwriter, and passionate about teaching. She integrates nervous system regulation techniques into her work, alongside her extensive training in Alexander Technique, voice, and dialects.
