I was born in an American Sikh yoga ashram in Boston but mainly grew up with Reiki masters, channelers and healers in Vermont. I’ve been a professional film and TV actor for over 25 years appearing in over 30 feature films, and national commercials. I’m a domestic CEO, Mountain Breathwork teacher, Akashic teacher, Reiki Master of Masters, Human Design reader, Buddhist practitioner. My husband, two boys and I live outside Portland, Oregon, where I enjoy music, dance and our two dogs!
Siri Baruc Thornton was born into a yoga ashram in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978. This community woke before sunrise, practiced yoga + meditation daily. At age two, her family moved to Vermont where Siri’s Dad taught yoga classes, which she attended and her Mom discovered the power of energy work called Reiki. Siri became immersed in the world of Reiki through the weekly meditation group of Reiki Masters. Siri learned Reiki I and II from her Mom’s Master, the late Karen Krieger, graduating from the Liberty School of Reiki in Jericho, Vermont in 2000. She helped facilitate Reiki clinics in Vermont. After extensive studies in Reiki, Siri chose Master Libby Barnett, author of “Reiki Energy Medicine” to initiate her into Mastership. She graduated The Reiki Healing Connection in Wilton, New Hampshire in 2003.
Siri founded + successfully launched her full time Reiki practice in Greenwich, Connecticut. She became a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. Siri offered her healing hands at the YWCA, numerous health fairs, community events, schools, auctions, health food + retail stores in Fairfield and Westchester counties. She practiced in a local dentist office, to soothe nervous clients while in the dentist chair. Siri was interviewed + her practice reviewed twice by The Greenwich Times as well as Fairfield County Business Journal, The Greenwich Post , Greenwich Magazine and by local radio stations. Her article, “What is Reiki?” was published by Inner Realm Magazine in 2002.
In 2011, Siri received her Master of Masters from Libby Barnett of The Reiki Healing Connection allowing her to train Reiki Masters.
Siri, Certified Reiki Master of Masters, practices Reiki on individuals daily, treating them with the utmost concern. It is her purpose to facilitate bringing people back into a state of balance so that they can be healthy, find peace and feel love and joy in their lives.
Siri is a Mountain Breathwork teacher, an Akashic Record teacher, a Reiki Master of Master, a Human Design Reader + has been working in the clairvoyant field for years. She developed her own system that is truly unlike any other system. Hundreds of her clients have described their sessions as eye opening, transformative and an overall phenomenal experience. She adores serving her clients, teaching + facilitating for them!
